  • Antimicrobial Properties: Copper has natural antimicrobial properties, which help keep the tool hygienic and safe for the skin. This makes copper Gua Sha a healthier alternative compared to other materials, reducing the risk of skin infections .

  • Anti-Inflammatory: Copper can help reduce inflammation and soothe the skin, making it ideal for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin .

  • Enhanced Microcirculation: Using copper Gua Sha can enhance blood flow and oxygen delivery to the skin, promoting a glowing complexion and aiding in the detoxification process.

Instructions For Use

Use your Gua Sha tool with gentle, upward and outward strokes, gliding it over facial oil for smooth movement. Apply light pressure around sensitive areas like the eyes and slightly firmer pressure along the jawline and forehead. For optimal results, aim to use the Gua Sha tool once or twice daily, or ideally, 2-3 times per week.

Step 1: Cleanse

Start with a clean face to remove any dirt or makeup, ensuring a fresh surface for your Gua Sha ritual.

Step 2: Apply a Facial Oil or Serum

Apply a hydrating oil or serum to create a smooth glide for the Gua Sha, preventing any tugging on your skin.

Step 3: Start at the Neck

Hold the Copper Gua Sha tool at an angle and begin with gentle, upward strokes up to 5-10 times along the sides of your neck. This promotes lymphatic drainage and circulation.

Step 4: Cheeks and Jawline

Using smooth motions, start from the chin and move outward along your jawline toward the ears up to 5-10 strokes. For the cheeks, sweep the tool outward from the nose toward the temples to lift and contour.

Step 5: Under-Eye Area

Using very light pressure, sweep from the inner corner of each eye outward toward the temples 3-5 strokes . This delicate area benefits from reduced puffiness and fewer dark circles.

Step 6: Forehead

Start at the centre of your forehead and move outward toward the hairline up to 10 strokes. This releases tension and smooths fine lines, especially between the brows.

Gua Sha is generally suitable for most skin types; however, if you have specific skin concerns, such as rosacea, it’s best to consult with your doctor or dermatologist. Gua Sha isn’t recommended for those taking blood thinners or other medications that affect blood clotting, and those with active acne may want to avoid applying pressure or friction to the skin.

Care and Maintenance

Our 100% Copper Gua Sha is crafted from pure copper, and over time, you may notice a natural change in color, known as Patina. This is a completely natural process of oxidation that occurs as copper reacts with the environment and the oils from your skin. Far from being a defect, this patina is a sign of the copper’s authenticity and uniqueness, offering character and enhancing the beauty of your tool. The patina also acts as a protective layer, preserving the integrity of the copper over time. Each piece becomes truly one-of-a-kind as it naturally evolves with use."

To keep your 100% Copper Gua Sha clean, shiny, and in optimal condition, follow these simple care instructions:

1. Regular Cleaning:  After Each Use: Gently wipe your Copper Gua Sha with a soft, dry cloth after every use. This removes any oils, serums, or lotions from the surface, preventing residue buildup. Weekly Deep Clean Use a soft cloth or a non-abrasive sponge to clean the tool. Mix a solution of mild soap and warm water. Dip your cloth into this solution and gently wipe the surface of the tool. Rinse with clean water, then immediately dry with a soft towel to avoid watermarks or spots.

2. For a Natural Shine:  If you'd like to maintain the original luster of your Copper Gua Sha and minimize the patina effect, polish it regularly using the following methods:

Lemon and Salt Method: Cut a lemon in half, sprinkle a pinch of salt on the cut surface, and rub it gently over the copper. Allow the lemon juice and salt to sit on the copper for a few minutes, then rinse off with water and dry immediately with a soft cloth.

Baking Soda Paste: Make a paste using baking soda and water. Gently rub this paste on the Copper Gua Sha using a soft cloth or your fingers. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to avoid any moisture damage.

3. Storing Your Copper Gua Sha: Store your Gua Sha in a cool, dry place when not in use. A soft pouch or fabric-lined case will protect it from excessive moisture and prevent accidental scratches. Avoid storing the tool in damp environments like the bathroom, as moisture can accelerate the oxidation process.

4. Embrace the Natural Patina:

While cleaning and polishing can help maintain the shine, the copper will naturally patina over time. This patina gives your Gua Sha a unique look that reflects its authenticity and age. If you prefer a more polished appearance, regularly clean and polish your tool. Otherwise, embrace the evolving beauty of the copper’s natural oxidation process.

Quick Tips:

Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or rough sponges, as these can scratch or damage the copper surface. Dry your Gua Sha thoroughly after every cleaning session to prevent water spots or corrosion. By following these steps, you can keep your Copper Gua Sha both hygienic and beautiful, with just the right balance of shine and natural patina!
